TeleCRM alternative: which calling CRM with WhatsApp fits?

A TeleCRM alternative, compared fairly: what a calling CRM with WhatsApp does, when TeleCRM is the right pick, and when a follow-up list is what you need.

5 min read · 26 Sept 2026

Two owners say the same sentence: "our calling is a mess". In the first office, eight telecallers dial through a list of numbers from last week's advertisement, and the owner wants to know how many calls each one made. In the second, two salespeople owe a call back to fifteen parties who asked for a rate, and half of those calls never happen. Both owners search for a calling CRM with WhatsApp. They need different tools.

What TeleCRM is

TeleCRM is a CRM from a company of the same name. Its About page says the company began in Aligarh. The website calls the product a telecalling CRM, made for Indian businesses that sell in India through calls and WhatsApp. It puts lead management, phone calls, meetings and WhatsApp on one platform.

For calling, the site lists a one-click dialler, auto-calling through a list, automatic call tracking and recording, and reports for each caller. For WhatsApp, it lists message templates, the official WhatsApp API, a chatbot and broadcasts. It captures leads from a website, Facebook, IndiaMART, Justdial and other portals, and distributes them to callers.

It is charged per user, and WhatsApp's own message charges come on top. The site invites you to request a demo.

Calling CRM with WhatsApp: the words mean two things

A telecalling CRM is built around the dialler. A follow-up system is built around the next date. The same words, "calling" and "WhatsApp", describe different work in each.

TeleCRM vs a follow-up system set up for you

Question TeleCRM A system set up for your process
What happens on a call? The dialler calls the next number for the caller The salesperson sees who is due today and what was said last time, then dials
How is the call recorded? Calls are tracked and recorded The salesperson saves the outcome and the next date in a few seconds. No recording
What does WhatsApp do? Templates, API messages, a chatbot and broadcasts Ready messages in your wording, sent one at a time from your own number
What does the owner read? Reports for each caller Follow-ups missed, by name, and enquiries, quotes and orders by source
Who sets it up? It starts with a demo. Ask what setup includes We do, on your open enquiries, in about two weeks
How is it charged? Per user A fixed one-time price and a flat monthly plan, not per user
Who do you call when it stops? Ask in the demo, and get it in writing One point of contact

Read the second column of answers with care. A follow-up system of this kind does not dial for you, does not record calls and does not send bulk WhatsApp. If you need those, it is the wrong tool.

When TeleCRM is the better choice

  • Dialling is the main work. Each person calls many new numbers a day, and time between calls matters.
  • You need recordings, to train callers or to settle what was promised on a call.
  • You send WhatsApp broadcasts, or want a chatbot to answer first.
  • Leads from Facebook and trade portals must land by themselves from the first day.
  • You want to start this week, on a product that is ready.

If three of these are true, TeleCRM, or another telecalling CRM, is built for your work. Take the demo.

Count for three days before you choose

Give each salesperson a slip of paper for three working days, with four lines to mark.

  1. Calls to new numbers that have never spoken to you.
  2. Call-backs to people who had already enquired.
  3. Follow-ups that were due and were not made.
  4. Times you wished you could hear a recording.

Add them up on the third evening. If line 1 is the longest and line 4 has marks, look at a telecalling CRM. If lines 2 and 3 are the longest, your problem is not dialling. It is that nobody knows who is due today.

If you already use TeleCRM

Keep it for calling. If the trouble starts after the order, with dispatch or payments, that is another process. A separate system for that one process can run beside TeleCRM, the way Tally stays for accounts.

Which one fits you?

A shared sheet is enough if one or two people call back and you read the list every Friday. The columns and the routine are in why enquiries go cold, and quotation follow-up covers the calls after a quote.

TeleCRM fits a team that dials all day and needs the dialler, the recordings and the broadcasts.

A system set up for your process fits when your count showed call-backs and missed follow-ups, and you want each enquiry to carry one salesperson and a next date in your own stages. We set up Enquiry Follow-up for that, on your own open enquiries. The live demo runs without a signup.

Product names belong to their owners. Shilp Labs is not connected to any of them. What is said about them here was read on their own websites in October 2026 and may have changed.
